Societal Learning

Learning architecture that shapes systems and builds collective intelligence

Today’s challenges like health inequality, climate disruption, and organisational transformation can’t be solved by individuals or isolated teams. Societal Learning creates the conditions for diverse groups to learn together, so they can navigate complexity, recognise patterns, and co-create meaningful solutions.

It moves beyond traditional training to focus on collective intelligence, cross-sector collaboration, and systems awareness, building the capacity to act adaptively, inclusively, and at scale.

Societal Learning supports:

  • Shared understanding across diverse stakeholders

  • Dialogue that builds trust and reveals blind spots

  • New mental models, skills, and feedback loops for adaptation

  • Stronger teams, organisations, and systems

  • Measurable impact on individual and societal wellbeing

At the heart of my work is a commitment to learning that drives meaningful social impact. I design and deliver educational initiatives that not only build individual capability but also support broader systemic transformation. Whether it's enabling health professionals to improve care delivery or helping policymakers navigate complexity, I believe that learning can be one of the most powerful levers for change.

Health Systems Awareness, Resilience and Transformation

Through my work on the Health Systems Awareness, Resilience and Transformation program, I’ve helped healthcare leaders across Sub-Saharan Africa build the adaptive skills needed to navigate uncertainty, lead change, and improve outcomes. The course used participatory methods—like systems mapping, narrative action research, and the Inner Development Goals framework—to surface structural barriers and identify pathways to progress. Delivered in partnership with clinical researchers and experts, the program supported long-term systems thinking and resilience-building across nine countries.

Good Clinical Practice on Coursera

I led the design of the Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certified course on the Novartis Coursera Academy. Developed in collaboration with subject matter experts, this course serves over 22,000 clinical investigators worldwide, helping ensure compliance with international trial regulations. The program was particularly tailored to reach underrepresented groups, including medical students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), in an effort to improve diversity in clinical trials.

Value Chain Academy

I supported the Value Chain Academy rollout and deployment strategy, which equips global teams with a deep understanding of how medicines move from molecule to market. The content was created to improve cross-functional awareness, supply chain literacy, and innovation across the healthcare ecosystem. The academy was positively received by academic institutions and healthcare practitioners alike for its clarity and practical relevance.

I co-founded Reimagined Value, a global collective of practitioners, creatives, and organisations, anchored in purpose, care, and curiosity, who come together to co-create safe, brave spaces for dialogue, experimentation, and systemic change.

Reimagined Value services blend strategic advisory, learning, leadership development, and systems awareness, to grow the people and capabilities that make transformation, innovation and resilience possible in teams, organisations, industries and networks.
